Coolum beach Dental have a revolving credit facility so you can draw down available credit for subsequent treatment costs, with no re-draw fees.

Just like a credit card, you can re-borrow whatever you’ve paid off, up to 80% of the original loan. For example, if you’ve taken out Coolum Beach Dental Finance for a $5,000 treatment and have already paid off $3,000, you can then re-draw an additional $2,000 for any additional treatment if required.

Application process:

Following a consult with your dentist and acceptance of the treatment plan, the Coolum Beach Dental application process is quick and easy. All you have to do is provide:

  • Photo ID: Australian Driver’s Licence or other government photo ID showing address
  • Credit card: MasterCard Visa Debit or Credit Card
  • Contact details: 2 contact phone numbers and an email address

With this information, the team at your dentist will enter your details and a quick credit check will be performed. It is not income tested so no pay slips are required. On approval, you simply pay a 20% deposit and the one off $39 establishment fee prior to the commencement of your treatment plan.

What do I have to pay today?

A 20% deposit and a one off establishment fee of $39 is all you have to pay to get your dental treatment underway. The loan amount is then spread into fortnightly, interest free instalments over 15 months.

What is the approval and credit check process?

Our application and approval process is easy and takes less than 5 minutes. Just provide the reception team your photo ID, eligible credit card and contact details. They’ll be able to tell you immediately whether or not you’ve been approved.

It is a non-income based credit approval, so approval or denial is not an indication of your current financial status. Rather the scoring system considers current loans and if there are any flagged indiscretions in your history. If your score is below the threshold, your application will not be approved.

The credit check is automatically generated by our online system, so the security of your data is safe. At no time will practice staff see your credit history.

It’s a similar credit check to what is performed when you apply for a mobile phone with a telco.

How long do I have to pay for the treatment?

The cost will be broken down into to fortnightly installments over 15 months.

Can I pay the plan off faster if I like to?

Yes you can make lump sum payments.

How often do I have to make payments?

Payments are automatically taken from your credit card every fortnight.

What if I am late with a payment?

If you default on a payment for any reason such as insufficient available funds or expired credit card, a late payment fee of $9.50 will be incurred. This fee will automatically be added to the next deduction.

What if I get a new credit card?

Please make sure you contact open plan on 03 9009 7211 to provide your new credit card details otherwise if your payment defaults you will incur a $9.50 late payment fee.

Where will my statement come from?

Coolum Beach Dental partner with My Smile plan and OpenPay to finance the payment plans, so your monthly statement will arrive from OpenPay.
