Dr Henry Sinclair

Dr Henry Sinclair graduate from Dental Science at Melbourne University in 1989. Since graduating he has completed extensive studies in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Bone Grafting, Implant Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has seen a lot of complicated dental cases and treated an enormous array of dental situations.

Notably Henry is a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education. He has completed a 2-year post graduate in Orthodontics (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars) and further study for oral surgery at the world famous Brener Implant Institute, developing further skills in bone grafting, implant placement and implant prosthetics. Henry’s comprehensive education and years of experience allows him to offer his patient expertise in an enormous range of treatment options.

Henry’s greatest passion is rejuvenation dentistry; which incorporates cosmetic dental enhancements, full mouth rehabilitations and dental implant placements. Henry loves seeing his Patients get their self-esteem and confidence back with a beautiful new smile. They say a picture tells a thousand words, which is certainly true when you look at the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of Henrys’ unbelievable restoration work. More recently in his career, Henry has been focusing his developed surgical skills on his All-on-4/5/6 implant bridges, which he has found extremely rewarding.

Henry is renowned amongst his patients as being extremely gentle, with a happy disposition and great sense of humour which makes him very popular. He always aims to make every dental visit as relaxing as possible. In his free time Henry enjoys exercise, car racing and spending time outdoors around the Sunshine Coast.

Dr John English

Dr John earned his Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from Plymouth University and prior, an Honours degree in Science from Melbourne University.

“My philosophy toward dentistry is evidence-based dental care in a friendly and relaxed environment. My goal is prevention and conservation and I always work with magnification loupes to ensure maximum preservation of healthy tooth structure. I am currently undertaking further specialist training in the areas of both Dental Implants and Clear Align Orthodontic treatment. I am easy going by nature and very conscientious about my work. Dentistry is my passion. In my spare time if my head’s not in the study books, I’ll probably be with my partner and dog enjoying the Sunny Coast lifestyle.”

Doctor Joey Guan

Dr Joey completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University (Cairns) in 2018. Originally born and raised in Melbourne, It wasn’t long before he fell in love with the tropics during his time in Far North Queensland.

For the past few years, he has been providing care for patients in regional cities such as Darwin and Coffs Harbour. Dr Joey has also been a dental volunteer treating the underprivileged communities and orphans of Cambodia. Despite enjoying all aspects of general dentistry, he has a particular interest in the fields of endodontics (Root Canal Therapy) and prosthodontics (Crown & Bridgework).

With his easy-going attitude, Dr Joey aims to ensure patients are relaxed and comfortable during their appointments. Outside of work, you’ll find him tinkering his with many hobbies. He enjoys longboarding, fishing, weightlifting, 4wding (and fixing what breaks), tennis and playing the guitar, saxophone and piano.

Doctor Jason Small

Jason graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School in 2008 where he was regarded for his excellent technical skills. On completion of his degree, Jason was awarded the student prize for highest marks in general/restorative dentistry.

Jason has worked in Emerald, Brisbane and more recently, the far south coast of New South Wales. Looking to return home to Queensland, Jason accepted his position with us at Coolum Beach Dental. Jason is extremely passionate about providing great dental care, with his friendly, compassionate manner Jason likes to foster a collaborative working relationship with his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Jason and his partner Jess enjoy bushwalking, surfing, hitting the gym and walking their faithful 13 year-old companion Max the staffy.

Winnie Pham – Oral Health Therapist

Growing up in Melbourne, Winnie completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at Central Queensland University in Rockhampton in 2020.

Winnie started her career in the dental industry over 7 years where she began as a Dental assistant. Wanting to further her skills she completed her Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Dental Assisting and Dental Radiography and then finally deciding to make the move to Queensland to pursue her career as an Oral Health Therapist. Winnie is qualified to provide preventative and restorative dentistry to children and adults of all ages and has worked both public and private sectors. She has a special interest in bringing a calming and positive experience to her patients with her caring nature and gentle touch.

Outside dentistry, Winnie enjoys her food but also keeping fit and spending time outdoors where you can usually find her at the beach, hiking, camping or doing a pilates class somewhere on the coast.

Lauren Atzeni – Dental Therapist

Dental Therapist Lauren Atzeni graduated from Curtin University Western Australia in 2010. Lauren has worked in the dental industry for over 25yrs in both public and private sectors here in Australia and in the UK.

Lauren has a passion for educating patients about their oral health and has a caring and gentle approach when it comes to their oral care. Lauren also really enjoys treating young patients and making their dental visits a fun and positive experience.

Outside of the clinic Lauren enjoys spending time with her young family, exploring our beautiful Sunshine Coast and travelling when she gets the chance.
